Barry Friesen is the designer and owner of Dawn Gardens who will host a tour of his beautiful grounds in all its brilliant Fall colors. With his 40 years at Dawn Landscaping, Barry set out to make his property a showcase to his work, and his passion for plants and landscaping is evident in his work creating Dawn Gardens. Barry’s experience includes head gardener at Kaiser Medical Center in Oakland and horticulture instructor at Merritt College in Oakland. Barry received a degree in 1969 from UC Berkeley with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture. Website: dawn-gardens.com
